ESCAPE ROOM

The Dominion of Terror wants you to try to Escape!!

An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit.

And for just $10 each - we dare you to our Brand New Escape Room for 2023! You have 45 minutes to try and figure out the fiendish riddles and tricks to try to get out in time.

MATINEE

Every year we hold a special lights on event for children and their families in our community, the Trick-or-Treat Matinée! We encourage children (and parents!) to dress up in their Halloween costume for extra fun when attending this event! For the Matinée will have normal lights on and there will be no monsters present, but there will be a friendly volunteer, handing out candy in each room!

October 19th from 12pm-2pm. Admission is $5.00 per person.

Dominion of Terror is a proud sponsor of the "Don't Be a Monster" Anti-Bullying campaign. At this year's matinee, we will be having a special booth on Anti-Bullying with giveaways and materials on how to prevent bullying. Special guests will include the "Positivity Booth" and the Sheboygan Fire Department and their Engine!

THROWBACK WEEKEND

On one, and only one, weekend each year, the Dominion of Terror rolls back to prices from the old days. On Throwback Weekend (October 11th and 12th) admission costs only $15 at the door. Are we trying to lure you in? Enter and find out…

About Us

Scaring For Fun Times And Fundraising

The Dominion of Terror is a non-profit Haunted House, run and funded by the Sheboygan Jaycees. The DOT is one of the Jaycees’ biggest fundraisers of the year for giving back to the community. All profits are donated at the end of the season to local charities.

Many Hands Make A Haunted House - DARE YOU TO SCARE WITH US!

Each year we design, construct, use and then teardown 20+ rooms in our Haunted House. It is a yearlong project, made successful by many, many volunteers. We work hard all summer tearing down the old and building new terrifying rooms for October. In October, we have fun. Staffing the house with more than 75+ volunteers, we aim to scare and terrify those who dare enter. If you want to try your hand at being a monster or want to watch the magic happen, please send us a message!

Our History

In our almost 50 years of operation, we have been located all over Sheboygan County. For the last 18 years we have been located in a property owned by RCS. RCS Empowers, Inc. (RCS) is a private nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower individuals with disabilities and special needs so that they may work, live and function with dignity and respect. We are extremely grateful to partner with RCS and appreciate their graciousness of letting us use the building year-round as needed. So for the last 18 years we have donated back to RCS for use of the building. They have used this money to fund their annual Christmas Party or for rebuilding their Theater for their amazing productions.
